SAP iXp Intern - Associate Project Manager

Position Overview Position title: SAP iXp Intern - Associate Project Manager Location: Palo Alto, CA Expected start date: July 2026 Duration: 6 months (potential for extension) Schedule: 30-40 hours per week Team The SLEDH Delivery team falls under the US Public Services Organization within Customer Services and Delivery. We serve State, Local, Education and Healthcare customers across the United States. Role Summary The Associate Project Manager supports a Senior Project Manager, Portfolio Manager, or Program Manager throughout the entire project life cycle – initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closing. This junior position performs basic functions to support SAP Services delivery on customer engagements. Responsibilities Assist in the delivery of SAP Software and services as directed by SAP Delivery or Project Manager. Assist with project coordination, planning, and management. Capture project metrics and ensure they are clearly communicated to appropriate SAP or Customer team members. Manage revenue backlog in SAP systems for assigned projects. Expectations and Tasks Participate in initial training to quickly learn targeted SAP technologies and methodologies. Maintain a high degree of customer satisfaction and develop referenceable customers. Create and maintain procedures and manuals. Track project status using internal and external tracking tools and assist in weekly status reporting. Assist in developing processes and templates, and establish document control procedures. Support the project team through data management, scheduling, and coordination of events. Manage multiple tasks, work in a team environment, and respond to project and customer needs. Adapt and function effectively in a fast‑paced, changing environment while meeting deadlines. Demonstrate initiative, drive results, and accept increasing levels of responsibility. Build credible relationships with peers and clients, and pursue continuous professional learning. Learn quickly and apply knowledge effectively. What You Bring Preferred prior experience in project coordination or an administrative project specialist role. Ability to work as a team player while also working independently. Analytical and detail‑oriented mindset. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, including verbal, written, presentation, and listening. Willingness to travel. Compensation and Benefits Targeted annual combined compensation range: 0-USD (inclusive of base salary and variable incentive). Any variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and actual payout will depend on company and personal performance.
