Physician Assistant

Role Description The Physician Assistant at KidKare Medical is a part-time, on-site role based in Fair Lawn, NJ. This role involves providing direct patient care to pediatric patients, including taking medical histories, performing physical examinations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and assisting with minor procedures. The Physician Assistant will formulate and implement treatment plans, prescribe medications as permitted, and deliver patient and family education on diagnoses, preventive care, and follow-up needs. Day-to-day responsibilities also include documenting encounters in the medical record, coordinating care with physicians and other clinical staff, participating in care team meetings, and supporting quality and safety initiatives within the practice. Qualifications Current Physician Assistant license in the state of New Jersey and certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). Demonstrated clinical skills in pediatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment, including experience with common childhood illnesses and preventive care. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for engaging children and families, explaining medical information clearly, and collaborating effectively with the care team. Ability to work in an on-site outpatient setting, manage multiple patients efficiently, and maintain accurate, timely documentation in electronic health records. Commitment to patient-centered, culturally sensitive, and non-discriminatory care, with attention to safety, confidentiality, and professional ethics. Preferred: Prior experience in pediatrics or family medicine, BLS/ACLS certification, and familiarity with immunization schedules and pediatric growth and development guidelines. #J-18808-Ljbffr
