The Office of K-12 School Choice Senior Clerk (Ops) performs administrative and clerical duties in support of the Private Schools and Scholarship Programs staff in the Office of Independent Education & Parental Choice.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing the operation of private school registration including assigning school codes and corresponding with private school administrators regarding the procedure for opening a private school, the registration process, and submitting the annual survey
• Provide customer service by answering calls and prepare written correspondence to private schools and the general public regarding private school registration, accreditation, closures and the location of records and transcripts
• Scan documents related to private schools, converting them to searchable text and maintaining files
• Route documents received to appropriate staff members
• Assist with record archiving process

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Ability to communicate effectively including verbal and written communication

Preferred Qualifications:

Preference will be given to applicants with at least one year of previous part-time or full-time employment in an office setting.
