Parts Clerk / Parts Administrator

Pay: $23.00 - $24.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Parts Clerk/Parts Administrator to join our team in South Plainfield, NJ. This position is responsible for managing parts returns, tracking vendor backorders, processing invoices and credits, and assisting customers with parts-related inquiries. The ideal candidate is proactive, highly organized, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.

Responsibilities:

• Process and track parts returns with vendors.
• Manage vendor backorders and follow up on outstanding orders.
• Review and process vendor invoices and credits related to parts purchases and returns.
• Assist customers with parts inquiries, requests, and order updates.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel and other computer systems to track inventory, orders, and transactions.
• Communicate effectively with vendors, customers, and internal departments.
• Identify issues and take initiative to resolve them promptly.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in parts administration, inventory, purchasing, customer service, or a related role preferred.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills and general computer proficiency.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
