Manager, Tax

Manager, Tax Full‑time, salaried position based onsite in Bridgewater, NJ. The Tax Manager works closely with finance and functional business partners on U.S. and non‑U.S. tax matters for Catalent. Responsibilities Manage the company’s income tax reporting function, including domestic and international tax provision and external reporting. Work with external auditors to resolve tax provision issues. Ensure compliance with ASC740, purchase accounting, effective tax rate reconciliation, tax basis balance sheet, return‑to‑provision reconciliations, cash tax reporting, intercompany transactions, FIN48 reserves, APB23 assertion, valuation allowance assessment, and statutory tax matters. Review and direct preparation of all U.S. compliance matters: consolidated Form1120; state and local returns; foreign subsidiary reporting (Forms5471,8858); foreign tax credit calculations; subpartF and GILTI income inclusions; FDII; CAMT; and PillarII. Calculate earnings and profits, maintain tax pools, foreign bank account reporting, and FATCA. Assist in transfer pricing calculations and documentation. Ensure Sarbanes‑Oxley compliance and monitor key tax controls. Partner with the tax team on global tax planning initiatives such as M&A, internal restructurings, supply chain and transfer pricing planning, foreign tax credit optimization, repatriation, cash management, treasury initiatives, and local country tax planning opportunities. Develop tax computational models and analytics to support global tax planning strategies, one‑off initiatives, audit risks and exposures. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (required); Master’s in Taxation preferred. Minimum five years progressive tax experience with a BigFour, large public accounting firm, and/or a large multi‑jurisdictional corporation. Fundamental knowledge of U.S. international tax rules and provisions, including SubpartF, GILTI, FTC, WHT, FDII, PTEP, and BEAT. Strong analytic and technical federal and international tax skills; experience in tax planning, M&A, transfer pricing, and complex transactions. Knowledge of ASC740 and tax accounting. Expert proficiency with MSExcel. Experience with OneStream financial reporting software, Thompson Reuters OneSource Tax Provision, and OneSource Tax Return preparation software. Ability to sit, stand, walk regularly and occasionally lift 0–15pounds. Compensation Salary range (NJ): $106,380–$162,500; bonus potential if eligible. Benefits 152 hours of PTO + 8 paid holidays.
