Position Summary

Senior Manager – Pharmacy Services Accounting

What You’ll Do

This role is responsible for:

• Managing core accounting activities (especially month-end close)

• Improving processes and driving automation within finance

• Leading projects that modernize and make accounting operations more efficient

• You’ll work closely with finance, accounting, IT, and operations teams to improve how work gets done.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Reporting

• Lead the month-end close process for SG&A expenses

• Review journal entries, reconciliations, and controls for accuracy and compliance

• Ensure processes follow US GAAP and company policies

• Improve and standardize accounting and reporting processes

Process Improvement & Transformation

• Lead projects to improve efficiency, scalability, and consistency in finance

• Help implement new tools, systems, or automation

• Partner with teams across the organization to roll out improvements

What You Need

• 7+ years of experience in accounting, finance, consulting, or transformation work

• Strong understanding of accounting processes

• Experience leading or supporting process improvements or transformation efforts

• Familiarity with ERP systems (like SAP or Oracle)

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, OR equivalent experience

• CPA or MBA preferred

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$82,940.00 - $182,549.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
