This is an entry-level role ideal for someone looking to grow in aerospace manufacturing. You'll use various tools and equipment to help manufacture or repair aerospace component parts-training is provided on the job. Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Use hand tools, sanders, and sandblasters to fabricate or repair aerospace parts.
- Load/unload parts into chemical milling and furnace systems.
- Follow detailed instructions (travelers) to inspect and complete tasks.
- Attend on-the-job training (OJT) sessions.
- Ensure parts meet traveler specifications.
- Maintain punctuality and consistent attendance.
- Follow Chromalloy's safety, environmental, and quality procedures.
- Demonstrate Core Company values ("Three Circles").
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Able to read, write, and understand English (FAA requirement).
- Experience using hand tools and industrial/machinery equipment (preferred).
- Background in aerospace, construction, or manufacturing (preferred).
- Must have good time management, attention to detail, and the ability to follow instructions.
