Pediatric Occupational Therapist

We are seeking to hire additional occupational therapists with clinical experience in pediatrics. We will also consider a new graduate that has had a strong pediatric fieldwork experience that considers themselves an active and engaged learner; or a therapist practicing in other areas of practice with a strong clinical background and excellent references. We will consider both part time (minimum 0.7 FTE) or full time hours for the right candidate to provide in-person therapy services. The ideal candidate will be skilled addressing therapeutic needs related to sensory processing disorders, sensory feeding issues, ADHD, autism, developmental delays, learning disabilities, executive functioning skills, and have experience working with children with behavioral challenges. Owners are working therapists and understand the complexities of providing therapy services. Professional freedom and flexibility for scheduling and documentation. Therapists do not have to work a 5 day work week although some afterschool hours are required of all therapists. Therapists are allowed to flex their hours up and down (with some limitation) as their needs change without losing benefits. All benefits are available to part time employees 0.7 FTE or higher. Weekly paid mentorship with owners/senior therapists for 1 year Generous paid time off Sick leave Employer match with retirement plan Health insurance partially paid by employer Continuing education funding Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or higher in Occupational Therapy WA Occupational Therapy License Strong organizational and time management skills Excellent written and oral communication skills High levels of professional accountability and high ethical standards Responsibilities: Evaluate individuals 0-18 year to determine the need for occupational therapy services Develop treatment plans and administer therapy services to individuals ages 0-18 Complete daily notes, progress notes, evaluations, and discharge summaries in a timely fashion meeting all insurance and licensure requirements Provide consistent caregiver education to support therapy goalsCollaborate with members of the patient's care team as necessary in a timely fashion Maintain cleanliness of therapy areas and office areas used by the clinician #J-18808-Ljbffr Prism Pediatric Therapy Associates
