JOB SUMMARY

\n

The Director, Social Media leads social strategy and client relationships across our clinical and prestige skincare and SPF portfolio. You'll be the day-to-day account lead, manage an Account Executive, and partner with our Creative, Project Management, and Influencer teams to deliver social programs that perform.

\n

\n

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Serve as account lead, owning day-to-day client communication and calls
\n
• Build and continuously optimize brand social strategies and campaign strategies using Dash Social analytics
\n
• Manage and develop an Account Executive, giving direction, edits, and approvals on monthly strategies, creative briefs, and reporting
\n
• Partner with Project Management and Creative to ensure content calendars and assets ladder up to strategy, and that Dash Social calendars are accurate and kept up to date
\n
• QA all content and captions against briefs, brand guidelines, and claims requirements
\n
• Oversee community management to ensure guidelines are met
\n
• Work with the Influencer team to plan creator assets and collaboration posts into the social calendar
\n
• Stay ahead of platform updates, social formats, beauty trends, and competitor activity
\n

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

\n

\n
• 7–10 years of agency social media experience, including clinical or derm-adjacent skincare brands
\n
• Working knowledge of skincare and SPF claims considerations in social and creator content
\n
• A deep understanding of the prestige beauty landscape
\n
• Strong ability to analyze social performance and turn insights into action
\n
• Experience developing social creative and collaborating closely with creative teams
\n
• Experience managing and mentoring junior team members
\n
• Excellent written and verbal communication, organization, and attention to detail
\n
• Proven ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
\n
• Proficiency with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Slack, and social planning and reporting tools (Dash Social preferred)

• Experience capturing BTS content at shoots and events

• Familiarity with Figma
