This role oversees brand strategy, consumer engagement, integrated marketing, media, influencer partnerships, retail marketing, launch planning, and cross-functional business leadership to drive brand growth, market share, and profitability.As a key member of the U.S. Marketing Leadership Team, the VP serves as the primary marketing lead for both brands, partnering closely with Global Brandholders, Sales, E-Commerce, Education, Creative, Consumer Insights, Finance, Supply Chain, and retailer partners to deliver best-in-class consumer experiences and business results.WHAT YOU WILL DOBrand & Business LeadershipYou will lead annual and long-range strategic marketing plans for Drunk Elephant and Dr. Dennis Gross in the U.S. market.You will develop growth strategies that accelerate brand awareness, consumer acquisition, retention, and sales performance.You will translate global brand vision into locally relevant strategies and activation plans.You will serve as the senior marketing representative in business reviews, portfolio discussions, and executive leadership meetings.You will identify opportunities to strengthen brand positioning and competitive advantage.Integrated Marketing & Consumer EngagementYou will oversee all aspects of integrated marketing, including media, influencer, social, CRM, experiential, advocacy, PR integration, and retail activation.You will drive consumer-first marketing initiatives grounded in insights, analytics, and market trends.You will ensure consistent and compelling storytelling across all consumer touchpoints.You will lead launch campaigns from planning through post-launch evaluation.Cross-Functional LeadershipYou will partner with Global Brandholders to align U.S. priorities with global strategies.You will collaborate with Consumer Insights, E-Commerce, Education, Creative, Finance, and Operations teams.You will lead cross-functional launch governance and milestone management.Retail & Commercial PartnershipYou will partner with Sales, Retail Marketing, and key retail partners including Sephora, Ulta, Amazon, and Nordstrom.You will develop retailer-specific marketing strategies that drive traffic, conversion, and brand equity.You will ensure strong alignment between marketing investment and commercial priorities.Financial & Performance ManagementYou will own marketing budget planning, forecasting, and investment optimization.You will establish KPIs and performance measurement frameworks.You will analyze business results and consumer metrics to drive continuous improvement and resource allocation decisions.You will present performance updates and recommendations to senior leadership.Team Leadership & Talent DevelopmentYou will lead, coach, and develop a high-performing marketing organization.You will foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, accountability, and inclusion.You will build organizational capability and succession plans for critical marketing roles.You will recruit and retain top talent across brand marketing functions.WHO YOU AREYou have a bachelor’s degree, master’s degree preferredYou have a minimum 10+ years’ experience in US Marketing, ideally in the beauty industryYou have a strong understanding of prestige skincare and beauty consumersYou have deep knowledge of the US beauty retailer landscape, digital, and in-store environmentsYou have a proven track record of successfully launching new products and executing innovative, digitally integrated marketing programsYou have demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally, collaborate with, consult with and influence all levels of the organizationYou are a passionate, energetic, team-oriented leader with strong leadership, analytical, interpersonal, and creative skillsYou are a leader who is flexible, solution-oriented with the ability to move quickly in a fast-paced environment; commands authorityYou have strong experience working with major retail partners and omnichannel business modelsYou have strong financial acumen and understanding of P&L requiredYou have superior oral, written communication and presentation skills required; highly organizedYou have software expertise – MS Word, Excel, PowerPointYou are able to travel#NYLaw #LI-hybridYou may be asked to perform other duties needed to help drive to our vision, fulfill our mission and abide by our organization’s values.What We Can Offer YouAt Shiseido Americas, our pride extends beyond our rich legacy to our passionate and talented team that brings it to life every day. Actual base pay offered will be based on several factors including job-specific knowledge, education, skills, and depth of experience.
