Store Associate

Position Summary Retail Store Associates play a meaningful role within the CVS Health family, supporting customers in a leading retail setting. They work independently and as part of a team to positively impact the lives of others. Essential Functions Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating needs, demonstrating compassion, and resolving potential service issues. Focus on the customer with a warm greeting, eye contact, and help locating additional items. Accurately perform cashier duties—handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions with precision and following company policies. Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking vendors, updating pricing, and completing inventory management tasks as directed by the store manager. Support opening and closing store activities when needed. Provide support to all departments, including photo and beauty, ensuring they are fully stocked and operational. Assist pharmacy personnel when needed, including working regular shifts in the pharmacy as growth opportunities. Embrace and advocate for new CVS services and loyalty programs. Required Qualifications At least age 16. Physical Requirements: Remain upright on feet for sustained periods. Lifting up to 35 lbs occasionally, up to 10 lbs frequently, and negligible force regularly. Visual acuity for tasks such as viewing a computer terminal or reading small details. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting. Education High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
