Overview At Lockheed Martin Aeronautics, the Supply Chain team is responsible for delivering innovative and affordable solutions across all products and services. Location & Travel Palmdale, CA. This position requires special access and involves some business travel to supplier sites. Responsibilities Procure goods and services through purchase orders and subcontracts. Develop and execute acquisition strategy. Manage supplier relationships and deliverables. Integrate with other departments to achieve customer objectives. Compile and analyze data to support decision‑making. Ensure compliance with procurement policies, FAR, and DFARS. Conduct risk, issue, and opportunity management. Assist junior teammates with policies and procedures. Participate in business travel to supplier sites as needed. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Procurement, or related field, or equivalent education and experience. Experience with procurement, purchase orders, supplier proposals, negotiations, data analysis, and ERP systems such as SAP or Procure‑to‑Pay. 3+ years of experience in supply chain management, procurement, or purchasing. Familiarity with FAR and DFARS. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Strong multitasking and prioritization skills. Analytical problem‑solving and solution‑recommendation abilities. Adaptability to change. Eligible to obtain a Secret clearance.
