Marketing and Communications Coordinator

Position: Marketing and Communications Coordinator Location: Cincinnati, OH Job Id: 712 # of Openings: 1 The Marketing and Communications Coordinator plays a key role in supporting BHDP's marketing and communications efforts across business development, internal communications, public relations, events, and digital channels. This role focuses on coordinating content, communications, and marketing activities that strengthen the firm's brand, support business development, engage employees, and promote BHDP's work and expertise. The Marketing and Communications Coordinator works closely with the Director of Marketing and Communications, Human Resources, and the broader Marketing and Communications team to ensure consistent messaging, timely execution, and high-quality work that reflects BHDP's brand and culture. Reports to: Director of Marketing and Communications Support business development efforts by coordinating proposal production, presentations, and pursuit materials that reflect BHDP's brand and quality standards. Maintain marketing content libraries and digital asset management systems, ensuring materials remain accurate, current, and accessible. Assist with the implementation and ongoing maintenance of OpenAsset and Shred.ai to improve marketing efficiency and content management. Internal Communications & SharePoint Support Coordinate firmwide communications through SharePoint and other internal channels, including announcements, marketing newsletters, employee recognition, and advancements. Maintain internal communication content to ensure consistency, accessibility, and alignment with BHDP's brand and culture. Support the ongoing development of SharePoint as a valuable communication resource for employees. Employee Onboarding & Brand Experience Partner with Human Resources and IT to create a welcoming and consistent onboarding experience for new employees. Coordinate marketing-related onboarding activities for new employees, including employee photography, welcome announcements, business cards, digital assets, and internal communications. Public Relations Coordination Support the Marketing and Communications team in executing the firm's public relations program by coordinating media outreach, press releases, interviews, awards submissions, rankings, and speaking opportunities. Maintain media contact databases, monitor industry coverage, update the "In the News" website section, and assist with media reporting. Develop project stories and supporting content for website, social media, and marketing initiatives. Podcast Program Coordination Coordinate the firm's podcast program from planning through publication, including scheduling, guest communications, production logistics, recording, editing, promotion, and performance tracking. Marketing Event Management Manage marketing-led events and firm celebrations, supporting planning, logistics, communications, vendors, and promotional materials. Digital Marketing Support Provide support for website management, social media publishing, and digital communications to ensure continuity across marketing initiatives and maintain a consistent brand presence. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Marketing, or a related field. 2+ years of experience in Marketing and Communications, with demonstrated success in coordinating marketing projects, content, and communications across multiple channels. Understanding of how marketing and communications support business development and organizational goals. Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills. Analytical mindset with the ability to translate performance data into actionable insights. Experience supporting proposals, presentations, and other business development and marketing materials, with strong attention to detail, deadlines, and brand standards. Experience managing website content and digital experiences within a CMS (preferably Drupal), with an understanding of usability, accessibility, SEO, and content best practices. Demonstrated experience creating engaging, platform-specific social media content and growing audience engagement across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and other relevant platforms. Experience capturing and editing photography and video for digital and social media content, with an understanding of composition, lighting, framing, and storytelling. Experience developing and coordinating internal communications, with an understanding of employee engagement, organizational messaging, and brand consistency. Experience supporting public relations activities, including media outreach, press releases, awards submissions, media monitoring, and related communications initiatives preferred. Experience with Marketing and Communications software and tools, including: Adobe Creative Suite (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign) Social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook) Canva SharePoint or similar intranet platform Drupal, WordPress, or similar content management system (CMS) Mailchimp or similar email campaign software HubSpot or similar marketing automation software Experience managing a podcast program a plus. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and external partners. Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities. Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple projects, stakeholders, deadlines, and priorities simultaneously.
