Your success is what's next with Custom Truck One Source.Accounting Specialist IIAs an Accounting Specialist II, you will play an essential role in the accounting functions of the organization. This position is expected to process all rental fleet additions and disposals timely and accurately and perform minor reconciliations. Attention to detail, flexibility, and multitasking are essential for this role. This position does not require travel.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesManage additions to the rental fleet to ensure they are added accurately and timely and post necessary journal entriesManage disposals from the rental fleet to ensure they are accounted for accurately and timely and post necessary journal entriesPerform reconciliation, and propose journal entries for minor reconciliations relating to rental departmentFollow company processes and procedures to obtain proper approvalsMaintain SOX compliance in all processesProvide support to internal and external auditors as it relates to these daily responsibilitiesAs this position becomes more efficient and proficient, will also consider assigning further responsibilitiesSkillfully use computerized accounting and financial management systemsRequired Skills and QualificationsProficient with the Microsoft Office SuiteStable work historyDetail-orientedPreferred Skills and QualificationsExcellent interpersonal, organizational, project management and problem-solving skillsHighly motivated individual who can work independentlyTeam player who doesn't mind digging into the details if the situations calls for itPossess and demonstrate the highest level of personal integrity and professional judgementBe able to work in a collaborative and respectful manner with all levels within the organization, from senior management to operating personnel.This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee.
