Production Lead

Job Description

Johnson Service Group a nationwide staffing Service is looking for a Production Lead with 2-5 plus years' experience. This is a Temp-Direct job for an Aerospace company in the Sun Valley, CA area.

Pay Rate: $24.00 HR
Working hours: 7:30AM - 4:00PM
Lunch: 12:00PM - 12:30PM

Responsibilities and Authority:
Production Lead has the following responsibilities/authority:
• Facilitate product safety, quality, and timely completion of work orders on the production floor.
• Coordinate with Leads to prioritize work and ensure schedule adherence.
• Report on various production statuses (schedule adherence, employee labor times, queue times etc.)
• Monitor and fulfill shortages on the production floor
• Monitor line stock item inventory levels and report on deficiencies
• Monitor MRO stock and request items as necessary
• Write up nonconformances and ensure their resolution
• Facilitate the completion of NCMR rework
• Back fill in the transformer and power supply departments as required
• Coordinate with the stockroom to resolve issues with production kits
• Create ECRs and update drawing packages per instructions
• Interpret drawings, routing instructions and parts lists
• Training employees at direction of Manufacturing Manager
• Request parts from stockroom, split work orders or request parts for purchase to fulfill orders
• Perform routine maintenance tasks as assigned
• Responsible for work traceability
