A Day in the Life of a Nursing Assistant - OB GYN Clinic (NA/NAR/CNA)

In this role, you will be instrumental in assisting OB-GYN clinicians and nurses by facilitating the smooth operation of the clinic, focusing primarily on ensuring efficient patient flow from reception to examination rooms. Your responsibilities will include conducting basic patient assessments such as measuring vital signs, height, weight, and assisting with diagnostic tests like EKGs. Challenges may include managing multiple tasks simultaneously and maintaining accuracy in a fast-paced environment. You will collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and administrative staff to ensure comprehensive care and effective communication regarding patient needs and conditions. Additionally, you are expected to uphold high standards of patient privacy and ensure that all supplies are well-stocked and equipment is functioning properly.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

Required

• One year experience providing hands on patient care
• American Heart Association BLS certification within 30 days of hire
• High School diploma or GED -OR- on the MN Nursing Assistant Registry upon hire

The pay range is listed above. Actual pay rate offered is determined based on experience in this role. Please be sure to include all applicable experience in your application.
