Job Summary & Responsibilities Position Summary: The Development Engineer will play a crucial role in the development, integration, and testing of systems and components for our semiconductor metrology equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for advancing technology in the semiconductor field. The position offers opportunities to engage in engineering design, integration tasks and contribute to the development of innovative solutions. Key Responsibilities Assemble, test, and troubleshoot systems and components as part of equipment development As part of system integration, combine hardware and electrical subsystems with software to deliver seamless, high-performance products Establish and document assembly, build and maintenance process and procedures for new equipment designs. Ability to understand the manufacturing assembly process and generate documentation for manufacturing and service Release documented procedures through ECO process As part of field support, travel (up to 30%) to customer sites within and outside the US Job requires full-time presence on-site at primary factory location Qualifications Bachelor's degree in engineering and 2+ years of demonstrated experience You consider yourself a hands-on person. Ability to understand and work with schematics, detail and assembly drawings, and procedures. Capable of using CAD software. Ability to work with assemblers and ATE to understand and document manufacturing build process. You are multitalented and interested in very interdisciplinary and collaborative work. Strong plus Experience with Semiconductor capital equipment. Outstanding communication skills (verbal and written). Why Join Onto Innovation? Compensation & Growth Base Salary Range: $79,280.00 - $118,920.00, offered in good faith and based on experience, location, and qualifications.
