Full-Time Outpatient Orthopedic Physical Therapist with Flexible Scheduling

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and licensed Physical Therapist to join our outpatient orthopedic clinic at Burger Physical Therapy, conveniently located in Escondido, California. This full-time position offers our physical therapists the opportunity to engage in comprehensive patient care with the flexibility of choosing a schedule that suits their needs, whether that's Monday to Friday or a four-day, ten-hour work week.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and develop tailored treatment plans based on individual patient needs and best practice methodologies.
• Administer therapeutic interventions including active and passive exercises, muscle re-education strategies, and functional training.
• Guide patients through daily living activities and prosthetic training, ensuring a full understanding of each method.
• Educate patients and their families on care plans, exercise regimens, and lifestyle changes essential for recovery.
• Regularly communicate with team members and assess progress to adapt care strategies, ensuring every patient receives the highest quality of treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with a diverse patient population requiring orthopedic rehabilitation. This includes post-operative patients, athletes seeking recovery from injuries, and individuals managing chronic pain conditions. Your expertise will play a critical role in enhancing their mobility and independence, collaborating closely with patients to set realistic goals and track their progress.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution or its foreign equivalent.
• Active California State license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team-based environment.
• Commitment to ongoing education and professional development.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in outpatient orthopedic settings is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with current physical therapy practices, therapeutic technologies, and patient management systems.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, exclusive of bonuses and additional benefits. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
