Major Accounts Sales Representative - Mid-Market

Job Overview ADP is hiring a Sales Representative, Major Accounts. In this role you will sell human resources technology within a designated geographic territory, cultivate new business opportunities, drive strategic discussions around Human Capital Management (HCM) initiatives, and manage complete sales cycles for ADP’s suite of solutions (40+ products and services) to executive level clients. You will forecast the sales pipeline and manage your book of business with continuous sales training and technology support. Responsibilities Sell the ADP suite of solutions to companies with 50 – 999 employees. Manage complete sales cycles, including pre‑sales, closing, and post‑sale implementation. Forecast sales pipeline and meet or exceed sales quotas. Develop and execute a sales strategy targeted to decision‑makers and business owners. Strategically cultivate additional business within existing accounts. Serve as a trusted advisor, partner, and ADP ambassador, demonstrating grace under pressure and the highest ethical standards. Required Qualifications Impressive track record of closing sales, winning clients, and managing a territory. Positive self‑starter who can cold call, manage time well, and present ideas clearly in‑person, over the phone, and in writing. Confidence to embrace opportunities, take risks, and challenge the status quo. Entrepreneurial spirit; natural leader, resourceful, thrives under pressure, and bounces back quickly. Trusted advisor who builds relationships, lives integrity, and delivers on promises. Education and Experience A college degree is welcome but not required. Minimum experience requirements include: Two or more years of quota‑carrying, outside B2B sales experience. Three or more years of relevant experience in HCM, technology, business equipment, uniform, or software sales. Military experience is recognized and valued. Preferred Qualifications Ability to build a network and effectively use social media for sales. Benefits and Compensation Base salary offers for this position may vary based on location, skills, and relevant experience. The salary range is USD $56,100.00 – USD $121,500.00 per year, with additional compensation possible as bonus, equity, or commissions. Bonus, equity or commissions may be offered. The actual compensation will not be less than the applicable minimum wage or minimum exempt salary requirement under federal, state, and local laws.
