Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

Complete Mind Care of PA (CMC of PA) is a private practice offering patient-centered treatment for individuals and families struggling with their mental health. We strive to help people reach their full potential, through a multi-service line approach. Our Team is comprised of Psychiatrists, PMHNPs, and Psychotherapists, of all backgrounds and specialties, including trained technicians to support treatments, TMS, Deep TMS treatment and Spravato. We are continuously looking to build on our practice’s service lines, through collaboration with a spectrum of specialist. The role of a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNP) at CMC of PA is to provide direct one-on-one high quality counseling, medication evaluation and management, to a range of clients with mental health diagnoses. A PMHNP is responsible for directing treatment under the supervision of the Director of Psychiatry, including case consultation as needed. Additional resource for collaboration will include weekly clinical staff meetings with Board Certified Psychiatrists. Collaboration with our Care Coordinators for TMS and Spravato and Medication Management. CMC of PA offers a multidisciplinary and integrative approach, working collaboratively with the patient’s psychotherapist to offer a full range of care. Furthermore, CMC of PA offers exciting treatment modalities, comprising of TMS and Spravato. To ensure optimal patient care, PMHNP are scheduled for a minimum of 1-hour evaluations, and 30-min medication management appointments. PMHNP will have a caseload based on specialty, as well as office staff to assist with scheduling, patient documentation collection, assistance with labs and pharmacies. Along with our in-office referrals, CMC OF PA has a close relationship with outside referral sources i.e., hospitals, facilities and healthcare offices in the community. Qualifications and Education Requirements Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with an advanced degree as a Psychiatric Nurse. Current and valid Pennsylvania Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) License. Prior experience in behavioral health including prescribing medications. Active DEA license required. Scheduling and Availability Full-time, part-time in-person / Hybrid Practice is open Monday - Thursday, 8:00AM - 8:00PM, Friday 8:00am to 6pm
