Monday – friday | 8:00 am – 5:00/5:30 pm dress code: solid color scrubs our client, a busy and well-established multi-location medical practice, is seeking a

certified medical assistant (cma) with

obgyn experience

to join their team. This is a

temp-to-perm opportunity offering long-term stability for the right candidate. This position requires flexibility to rotate between two offices located approximately 15 minutes apart in norfolk and virginia beach. Position type temp to hire compensation

$30.00 per hour

requirements

• current medical assistant certification (required)
• obgyn experience required
• current bls certification
• minimum of 2 years of experience as a medical assistant
• ability to rotate between norfolk and virginia beach offices
• strong emr documentation skills
• excellent patient service and communication skills

key responsibilities

• room patients, record vital signs, and obtain medical histories
• assist providers with obgyn procedures and exams
• schedule appointments and manage patient flow
• accurately document within the emr system
• perform clerical duties including reports and charting
• maintain hipaa and osha compliance
• order and maintain medical supplies
• support physicians and clinical staff in daily operations
