Job Full Description

Express Employment Professionals is recruiting for a locally owned and well-established construction company in the Medford area. Our client specializes in residential and light commercial construction and is looking for a dependable, hardworking Construction Laborer to join their growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in quality craftsmanship, and wants to build a long-term career in the construction industry.

Responsibilities

Prepare and clean construction sites to maintain a safe and organized work environment.
Assist with residential and light commercial construction projects.
Load, unload, and move construction materials, tools, and equipment.
Dig trenches and perform general site preparation.
Assist with concrete work, including setting, bracing, and removing forms.
Perform light demolition and debris removal.
Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
Measure and cut materials accurately using a tape measure and other tools.
Follow blueprints, work instructions, and supervisor direction.
Maintain compliance with all safety policies and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Previous construction or general labor experience preferred.
Ability to accurately read a tape measure.
Familiarity with basic hand and power tools.
Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn.
Reliable attendance and dependable transportation.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
Ability to communicate effectively and follow verbal and written instructions.

Physical Requirements

Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds or more.
Stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, twist, and climb throughout the workday.
Perform repetitive physical tasks in a variety of weather conditions.
