Registered Nurse - NICU

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care to neonatal patients in NICU levels II and III, ensuring their safety and well-being. Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver exceptional patient outcomes and adhere to clinical protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Assess neonatal patients' conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and perform necessary clinical procedures.
• Collaborate with physicians and hospital staff to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and clinical interventions.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards, including certifications.
• Participate in team meetings and continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Valid nursing license with pending license acceptance prior to start date.
• Minimum of 2 years of NICU nursing experience; 1 year may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
• Current BLS, ACLS, NIH, and NRP Advanced certifications required.
• Recent EPIC system experience preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to pass cardiac dysrhythmia and moderate sedation tests during orientation.
• Comfortable working with a 3x12 hour day shift schedule.
