About the Position

Job Title: Hospice Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Hospice Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8H Days Hours per Shift: 0830-1700 Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience License: Required Certifications: BLS Must-Have: 1 year of hospice experience Description: We are seeking a Hospice Registered Nurse for our hospice care service. The service area covers a 50-mile radius. The caseload consists of 12-14 patients, with 4 visits or 2 starts of care per day. The standard electronic medical record system used is Home Care Home Base. Candidates must have experience in hospice care and patient management. Weekend shifts are required on a rotating basis, approximately every 4 weeks. Minor holidays will be worked, along with 2 major holidays per year. The dress code consists of navy blue scrubs. This position does not involve any utilization review or discharge planning. Mileage reimbursement is included within the compensation structure. Cancellation of shifts can occur within established guidelines during assignments. This role primarily involves providing hospice care to patients in their homes or facilities.
