Physical Therapist - School Setting in Biloxi, MS

This role focuses on providing physical therapy services in a school setting, located in Biloxi, MS. This contract position offers the opportunity to work closely with students to support their physical rehabilitation and developmental goals within an educational environment.


Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized physical therapy treatment plans for students
• Implement therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, and functional abilities
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
• Document student progress and maintain accurate treatment records
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to individualized education program (IEP) development

Qualifications:

• Valid physical therapy licensure in the state of Mississippi
• Experience working with school-aged children preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
• Ability to adapt therapeutic approaches to meet diverse student needs
