Details Float pool position covering all PCU/IMCU floors with a cardiac patient population Patient ratio of 1:3-4 Cares for STEMI, NSTEMI, CTS, and cardiac/pulmonary patients Manages cardiac drips including Milrinone, Dobutamine, and pressors May also be assigned to telemetry beds within the same unit with lower acuity levels Uses EPIC EMR Day shift schedule, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week Expected to work 4 weekend shifts per month Block scheduling is generally not approved Requirements Active RN license (GA or Compact) currently in hand Current BLS and ACLS certifications required Minimum of 2 years RN experience in a similarly sized facility Experience in high-acuity, high-volume, Level 1 trauma center environments required Proven background managing critical, fast-paced, large-scale trauma cases Experience limited to small or low-volume hospitals is not accepted Additional Information Works within a high-acuity, inner-city Level 1 trauma center handling complex and challenging cases Minimal RTO during contract Local candidates accepted at the same rate as travel candidates American Traveler Job ID P-754980.
