Position – Quality Technician

Job Location – Neenah, WI

Starting Date – ASAP

Employment Term – Temp to hire

Employment Type – Full time

Work Hours (Shift) – 2nd shift

Starting Pay –$22 to $24/hr

Required Experience – At least 2 years of experience

As a Quality Technician, you'll be instrumental in maintaining our high standards throughout the production process. You'll work closely with our production teams to identify and resolve issues, ensuring every piece that leaves our shop meets our rigorous quality requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process and final inspections of fabricated metal components using various precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, CMM, etc.).
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to verify product conformity.
• Identify and document non-conforming materials or products, initiating corrective actions as needed.
• Conduct first-article inspections and provide feedback to production.
• Assist in developing and implementing quality control procedures and standards.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and generate quality reports.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and sales teams to resolve quality issues and improve processes.
• Participate in root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.
• Ensure compliance with internal quality standards and customer specifications.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 2 years of quality experience, ideally in a metals environment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Must have experience in calibration, auditing and ISO9001
