Job Description As a Travel CVICU RN, you’ll care for patients recovering from complex cardiovascular procedures, including open‑heart surgery, heart transplants, and bypass grafts. You'll monitor hemodynamics, manage critical drips, and support patients through their most delicate recovery phases. Key Responsibilities Provide direct care to post‑cardiac surgery patients in the CVICU Monitor vital signs, manage vasoactive drips, and assess for complications Collaborate with cardiac surgeons, intensivists, and interdisciplinary teams Operate advanced cardiac monitoring and life support equipment Document and communicate effectively to ensure continuity of care Requirements Active RN license (Compact license preferred) BLS and ACLS certifications required; CCRN preferred Minimum 2 years of recent CVICU or Open Heart Recovery experience Strong knowledge of hemodynamics, ventilators, and cardiac pharmacology Ability to adapt quickly in high‑acuity, high‑pressure settings Why Travel with ARMStaffing?
