Registered Nurse - NICU

Job Description

Job Summary:

Provide specialized neonatal care to newborns in the NICU, ensuring their safety and well-being during night shifts. Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver high-quality patient-centered care for Level III Neonatal patients.

Responsibilities:

• Administer direct patient care to neonatal patients, including monitoring vital signs and managing medical equipment.
• Implement neonatal protocols and interventions under physician supervision.
• Document patient assessments, treatments, and progress accurately and promptly.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and revise care plans.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and nursing best practices.
• Complete orientation assessments, including ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate tests.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active Ohio RN license or a valid Compact State RN license.
• Possess a minimum of 18 months recent Neonatal Level III experience.
• Be certified in BLS, PALS, and NRP with active status.
• Successfully pass ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate assessments.
• Demonstrate proficiency in neonatal critical care procedures.
• Provide two management references from within the past 12 months.
