Visa sponsorship provided: No Location: Johnson City, TN Remote Status: no remote Pay Type: Annual Salary Salary: 150000-165000/US Dollars Occupational Categories: Engineering/ Manufacturing/ Production/ Operations Industry(ies): Automotive/ Motor Vehicles,Chemical,Plastics / Rubber Our client is growing and needs a pro-active Engineering Manager to leadall engineering activities,The Engineering Manager drives process innovation, equipment design, andteam development to ensure operational excellence, safety, andscalability in a fast-growing, high-technology environment.The Engineering Manager ensures safe, reliable, and scalable productioncapability while aligning execution with the company’s mission, growthstrategy, and core values.The Engineering Manager is responsible for Process Engineers, ControlsEngineers, Facility Engineers and Maintenance Engineers.Responsibilities- Build, mentor, manage high-performing engineering team responsiblefor process functions.- Lead capital planning, Capex budgeting, operating expense forEngineering and Maintenance- Collaborate with Corporate Engineering implement engineeringstandards and strategies.- Drive a culture of safety, continuous improvement, accountability,teamwork, and integrity.- Develop role based expectations, succession plans, and talentdevelopment paths.- Lead projects focused on process optimization, automation, andcontinuous improvement- Develop and improve manufacturing processes using Lean and Six Sigmaprinciples.- Define maintain equipment specifications, standards, and vendorperformance expectations.- Ensure process scalability from prototype to full production.- Oversee troubleshooting and root cause analysis for quality,productivity, and safety issues.- Lead initiatives for scrap reduction, OEE improvement, costreduction, uptime reliability.- Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and engineering changeprocesses to ensure manufacturability and production readiness.- Implement and manage the Computerized Maintenance Management System(CMMS).- Ensure preventive and predictive maintenance strategies are fullydeployed.- Collaborate with Quality and Sales on customer requirements andapplications.- Ensure adherence to ISO and other applicable quality managementstandards.- Provide data driven updates on project status, engineering metrics,maintenance performance.- Ensure alignment with Operations, Finance, Procurement, HR, andCorporate EngineeringQualifications:- BS degree in engineering or related technical discipline (advanceddegree preferred).- 10 + years relevant engineering experience in battery, extrusion,coating, polymer processing, specialty film, or other high precisioncontinuous process industries highly preferred.- CAPEX project management expertise- Demonstrated ability to develop technical talent and leadmultidisciplinary teams.- Strong decision making and prioritization skills in a fast pacedenvironment.- Expertise in Continuous Improvement, Lean and six sigma- Effective communicator tailoring messages to technical andnon-technical audiences.- Present technical data and project status to both internalstakeholders and customers.- Strong analytical mindset with demonstrated ability to diagnosecomplex process issues.- Expertise in root cause analysis, statistical problem solving, andstructured decision making.- Travel to other plant locations, vendors as neededWhy is This a Great Opportunity :Growing company needs an Engineering Leader to help them advance.
