Operations Supervisor

Job Summary The Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing their respective area of manufacturing or warehousing operations. Core Duties Manage respective duties including facility management, stocking, inventory, maintenance and creating products for orders/ stock. Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in respective area(s). Reviews orders, maintenance records, machinery, and other records as applicable to determine the daily/ weekly work assignments as well as goals for the week/ month/ quarter. Vendor and contractor management as applicable. Oversees receiving activities to ensure accuracy, completeness, and quality of product(s). Coordinate communication between the internal departments as required to ensure efficient and timely deliverables. Maintain warehouse cleanliness in compliance with OSHA and safety policies. Establish and maintain good rapport with internal and external customers through effective communication both written and oral. Assist with daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counting, and other inventory management functions as needed. Maintain the proper working order of all warehouse equipment and tools. Ensure compliance throughout the facility to global process standards and work on continuous improvement initiatives. Assist with all ISO9001 compliance activities as needed. Other duties as assigned Basic Qualifications 5+ years of warehouse/operations or equivalent experience. Results-driven with a keen ability to make sound decisions. Microsoft Office knowledge required. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to lift 40 lbs. Ability to travel up to 10% of the time as needed. Preferred Qualifications Associate's or bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
