Inspector Machining Quality

Are you experienced in quality inspection within a machining environment? We're seeking a detail-oriented Inspector Machining Quality to join a growing team focused on delivering high-quality precision machined components and assemblies.

What You'll Do

• Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections on machined parts and assemblies

• Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T

• Verify dimensions and tolerances using precision measuring equipment

• Utilize tools including:

• Micrometers

• Calipers

• Height gauges

• Bore gauges

• Indicators

• Optical comparators

• CMM equipment

• Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records

• Identify and address nonconforming materials

• Partner with machinists and manufacturing teams to resolve quality concerns and support continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• Previous experience performing quality inspections in a machining or precision manufacturing environment

• Strong understanding of GD&T, blueprint reading, and quality control practices

• Experience using precision measuring instruments

• CMM experience preferred

• Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills

• Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively in a production setting

Schedule

• Day Shift: 6:00 AM 2:30 PM

• Evening Shift: 2:30 PM 10:00 PM

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Collins, CO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
