Role SummaryAnthropologie is looking for a Business Systems Analyst to partner with Merchandising, Buying, Planning, Allocation, and Technology teams to deliver reporting and analytics solutions that drive informed business decisions and support key promotional and planning initiatives.Role ResponsibilitiesThis position will be responsible for delivering end to end reporting and analytics solutions using diverse accountabilities in a Retail specific environment. These accountabilities include system and data analysis, report creation and automation, documenting business requirements, trouble shooting and resolving issues encountered by our merchandising and planning partners. This position is heavily weighted towards merchandise promotions process and works most closely with the Anthropologie Planning teams.Must display a broad knowledge of Retail processes.Learn and support current BI landscape and make recommendations for continuous improvementNeeds to anticipate and identify issues that may prevent deliverables and develop and implement corrective actionsResponsible for one or more aspects of BI system analysis, design, development, testing and trainingCommunicates and coordinates project activities with business, technical and IT organizationsAssesses projects and identifies essential tasks; reprioritizes tasks dynamically during the project; identifies and evaluates alternatives and provides possible solutions.Must embrace technologyNegotiates and persuades other groups with diverse perspectives to gain cooperation and achieve merchandise objectivesRole QualificationsCandidate must have strong understanding of Retail concepts and business processesMinimum 2 years of Retail experienceAbility to work under pressure and deliver to deadlinesMust feel comfortable interacting with all levels of the organizationStrong attention to detail with emphasis on both quality and speedAbility to prioritize work effectively and handle multiple competing demandsMust be able to work independently and in a team environmentExcellent interpersonal and communication skills both oral and writtenMicroStrategy knowledge is preferred but not requiredAccess, MS-SQL knowledge is a plusPrevious working knowledge of at least one of the following is a plus:Island Pacific MerchandisingQlik reportingExcelThe PerksURBN offers comprehensive Perks & Benefits to employees.
