Registered Nurse – Intensive Care Unit (ICU), travel assignment in Bay City, Michigan. Start date 06/29/2026 for a 13-week contract, with 36 guaranteed hours per week on a 3×12-hour day shift. Responsibilities
- Collaborate with physicians to develop and implement an individualized plan of care for ICU patients.
- Provide bedside nursing care and execute medical orders; supervise delegated tasks to Nurse Assistants and other support staff.
- Lead and mentor team members, precept new staff, and coordinate assignments to ensure proper patient placement.
- Participate in patient conferences and discharge/transfer planning; communicate prognosis and education to patients and families.
- Monitor for changes in patient conditions and evaluate the effectiveness of the care plan; adjust as needed.
- Weekend coverage: at least two shifts every other weekend; no on-call requirement.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Michigan
- 2+ years ICU experience (required)
- BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (required)
- Comfortable floating to ED and step-down units (required)
- Nice-to-have certifications/documents: TCAR, TNCC, CCRN, SCRN
- Travel experience (preferred)
- Neuro surgical experience (preferred)
- Open heart experience (preferred)
