Credit Trading - Private Credit - Analyst

The analyst will join the CIB Credit Trading & Financing organization, supporting the Private Credit Financing team in New York. This is a fast-paced, dynamic role involving the analysis and valuation of a diverse portfolio of private credit assets pledged as collateral to support corporate client borrowings. The analyst will work closely with senior analysts to assess risks on new transactions, perform in-depth credit analysis across a wide variety of industries, and develop valuation and mark recommendations.Job Responsibilities:Analyze middle market credit investments in collaboration with Private Credit Financing teamsPerform credit analysis of portfolio loan investments, identifying business risks and mitigantsDevelop draft mark recommendations for new loans by analyzing the underlying business, credit structure, loan spread, and all other relevant informationConduct financial analysis, modeling, and credit underwriting & documentationMonitor the portfolio through ongoing review of sector trends and quarterly financialRequired Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities:Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business, Engineering, Accounting, or a related quantitative fieldStrong English verbal and written communication skillsProficiency with GAAP accounting, financial reporting analysis, and financial modeling/ExcelStrong MS Office skillsEntrepreneurial work ethic — self-starter, intellectually curious, and eager to learnSuperior time management and multi-tasking skills to juggle live transactions and daily tasks while maintaining focus on client needsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced team environmentPreferred Qualifications:Experience in a credit role (Credit / Market Risk, Credit Portfolio Management) or analyzing equity/credit investmentsExperience in Banking, Capital Markets, or Investment ManagementMaster's degree in finance or CFACoding / Automation skillsComputer Science background is a plus JPMorganChase, one of the oldest financial institutions, offers innovative financial solutions to millions of consumers, small businesses and many of the world’s most prominent corporate, institutional and government clients under the J.P.
