Dental Assistant IISea Mar Community Health Centers, a community-based organization committed to providing quality, comprehensive health, human, housing, educational and cultural services to diverse communities, is recruiting for the following position:Sea Mar is seeking a Dental Assistant II to support dental providers and assist with clinic operations, patient flow, training, and supply inventory. This role includes chairside assistance and administrative support to ensure efficient and high-quality patient care.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide chairside assistance using four-handed dentistry across multiple dental proceduresEscort patients, support patient flow, and communicate delays to staff and patientsAssist with scheduling, charting, vitals, and patient educationMaintain sterilization, infection control, and OSHA complianceAssist with inventory, supply ordering, equipment maintenance, and record keepingSupport insurance verification, pre-authorizations, and treatment planningParticipate in quality improvement activities and training of new staffQualificationsCompletion of formal Dental Assistant program or 18+ months dental assisting experienceWashington State DOH Dental Assistant Registration requiredBLS CPR required within 90 days of hire; TB testing annuallyStrong communication, organizational, and patient service skillsBilingual English/Spanish preferredMust pass DAII competency test/practical with 80% or higherSea Mar is an Equal Opportunity Employer and offers a competitive benefits package.Starting Wage: $22.65 per hourWork Schedule: Monday – Friday (Can be edited based on need)What We Offer:MedicalDentalVisionPrescription coverageLife InsuranceLong Term DisabilityEAP (Employee Assistance Program)Paid-time-off starting at 24 days per year + 10 paid Holidays.401(k)/Retirement optionsOpportunity to work in a culturally diverse environment
