About the Role
The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President for its Closing Group within the Capital Markets division. This pivotal role is focused on the execution of complex back-leverage financings and structured credit transactions, serving as the primary liaison between the closing group and capital markets team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the closing processes of various structured financing transactions, maintaining transaction checklists, and coordinating with multiple stakeholders to ensure the smooth execution of deals. Additionally, the role involves drafting and managing documentation, supporting the execution of new financing structures, and identifying opportunities to enhance documentation workflows and transaction management practices. Applicants for this role at The Company should have a Juris Doctor or be an experienced paralegal with a minimum of 5 years' relevant experience, or be an exceptional candidate with alternative experience levels. A background in commercial real estate finance, structured finance, capital markets, or related transactional practices is essential. The ideal candidate will be highly process-oriented, possess exceptional organizational skills, and have a strong attention to detail. Effective communication and the ability to build relationships across various teams are also key requirements. The role demands a self-directed individual who can work with minimal supervision and is comfortable in a fast-paced, in-office environment.
