Senior Accountant
Our client is seeking a Senior Accountant to support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes while ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. This role focuses on complex accounting activities, consolidations, reconciliations, and financial analysis within a fast-paced corporate accounting environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting
- Prepare and review financial statements and supporting schedules in accordance with accounting standards
- Prepare complex journal entries related to consolidations, accruals, revenue recognition, lease accounting, foreign currency translation, and royalty activity
- Perform account reconciliations and roll-forwards to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data
- Analyze financial variances and provide explanations to leadership
- Manage intercompany and third-party royalty invoicing in accordance with contractual agreements
- Assist with budget and forecast analysis on a monthly and quarterly basis
- Support government reporting requirements and compliance initiatives
Requirements
- Strong accounting and financial reporting experience, including consolidations and complex accounting areas
- Knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Experience preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis
- Proficiency with accounting systems and financial reporting tools
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
