Dishwasher Position

Our dishwashers are dedicated, detail oriented, and reliable. The ideal candidates should possess the ability and willingness to operate a dishwashing machine, restock from and back of the house dish racks, and follow company standards. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in the kitchen, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation practices.

Key duties and responsibilities:

• Operate a commercial dishwashing machine
• Manually wash dishes using a three-compartment sink if the machine malfunctions
• Restock front and back of the house dish racks and maintain cleanliness in designated storage areas
• Follow food safety and sanitation practices, ensuring appropriate water temperature and balance of cleaning agents and chemicals
• Dump trash from the restaurant
• Sweep and mop floors daily and throughout shift as needed
• Follow verbal and written instructions, communicating effectively and professionally with coworkers and management
• Report to work on time each day, maintaining a positive attitude and setting a good example for coworkers
• Work in small or tight areas with hot water
• Work in a fast-paced and noisy area
• Stand for long periods of time
• Safely handle knives and other sharp objects
• Bend, stoop, and reach several times daily
• Lift up to 40 lbs

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a fast-paced environment if preferred
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and lift up to 40 lbs several times a day
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Flexibility to work in varying conditions, including hot and humid environments
• Fun, eager, positive, and committed team member
• Weekend and holiday availability is required
• At least 16 years of age
• Authorized to work in the US
• Proficiency in English
