Warehouse Associate - Lumberton, NJ

JOB SUMMARY

Warehouse Associates are responsible for performing an array of duties, such as receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders, packing and shipping orders. Hourly rate: $18.50.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Fill customer orders as assigned by picking, scale counting, packing, or shipping material. Generate appropriate labels for product identification and/or mark materials with identifying information. Prepare parcels for shipment in accordance with Heilind and customer specifications to prevent damage, ensure preservation, and accurate identification. Work in a manner that promotes efficient handling and minimizes waste. Participate in Company sponsored training and process improvement activities. Comply with all Company Policies as defined in the Company's Warehouse Orientation Packet. Pursue continuous improvement through training and process improvement. Comply with all applicable elements of the Company's Quality Management System. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area. Must have attention to detail. Other duties as assigned.

SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to use electronic devices such as barcode scanners for material pulling and material put away. Basic computer skills. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Good interpersonal and communication skills. Problem solver. Team Player.
