Work Environment\n

This position is remote, allowing for flexible work arrangements to effectively support mental health services in a school environment. You will be part of an integrated mental health team that collaborates with educators, parents, and other professionals to promote a holistic approach to student wellness. Flexible scheduling is provided, including some evenings and weekends to accommodate student needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to better understand students’ mental health challenges, strengths, and support systems.

• Deliver individual, family, and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based treatment modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy.

• Create and implement individualized treatment plans that set clear goals and interventions tailored to each student.
\n
• Engage in regular collaboration with fellow practitioners, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to provide coordinated and effective care for students.

• Facilitate crisis interventions, risk assessments, and safety planning, ensuring the well-being of students at all times.

• Maintain comprehensive and timely documentation according to ethical and legal standards, ensuring a consistent approach to care.

• Lead group therapy sessions, psychoeducation classes, and support groups to foster a community of healing and peer support among students.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily focus on young people in the school setting, addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral challenges. You will engage with students, families, and school staff to create a well-rounded support network. By promoting mental health awareness and proactive intervention, you will play a pivotal role in shaping a positive school environment and enhancing community relationships.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Massachusetts.

• Minimum of two years of post-graduate experience in a mental health or outpatient setting, particularly within educational environments.

Compensation and Benefits\n
