Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to understand clients' mental health needs and identify their strengths, challenges, and support systems.

• Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions tailored to the unique needs of young clients and their families, ensuring cultural competence at all times.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic models, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and family systems therapy to drive effective treatment outcomes.

• Develop and implement detailed treatment plans that outline specific goals, therapeutic interventions, and consistent progress monitoring for each client.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, which may include educators, psychologists, and school administrators, to ensure coordinated, holistic care for students.

• Handle crisis situations effectively by conducting risk assessments and developing safety plans to protect client's well-being.

• Advocate for clients’ rights and facilitate access to community resources, while providing ongoing case management support.

• Engage in community outreach initiatives, participating in awareness campaigns and mental health education efforts to reduce stigma and promote mental wellness.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is on providing mental health support to a diverse population of children, adolescents, and their families within the school context. Many of our clients face unique challenges, and you will have the opportunity to impact their lives dramatically by helping them navigate academic, social, and emotional hurdles.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
\n
• Current active licensure in Massachusetts as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).

• Strong foundational knowledge in mental health practices, particularly child and adolescent psychology.
\n
• Excellent communication, empathy, and problem-solving skills, essential for building relationships with clients and their families.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

Access Mind Counseling LLC offers an attractive salary range of USD 70,000 to 100,000 per year based on experience and qualifications, along with a sign-on bonus.
