Our senior bankers have strong relationships across a variety of distribution and services sectors, with sub-sector areas of focus including engineered products, industrial supplies and equipment, automotive aftermarket, commercial and residential services, professional services and other tech-enabled services. We have extensive experience conducting successful M&A transactions on both the buy side and sell side, as well as equity and debt capital raises.Associates & Vice Presidents hold a range of responsibilities that can include mentoring analysts, executing transactions, supporting business development, and maintaining client relationships. Key tasks include:Playing a key role in the transaction execution processDeveloping, and overseeing the development of, detailed financial analyses and the preparation of models for various types of transactionsPerforming extensive valuation and pricing analysesCreating Confidential Information Presentations, management presentations, marketing pitches and other presentationsHelping plan and execute live engagementsCoordinating and performing business due diligenceCreation and execution of business development and marketing plans in coordination with Senior Bankers.Performing industry research and comparable company analysisTraining and developing analysts and associates (as applicable)Recruit, educate, and train Investment Banking Analysts and Associates (as applicable)Building relationships and maintaining direct contact with current and prospective clientsPerforming other tasks as assigned by managementQualifications:3+ years of investment banking or an MBA with 1+ years of investment banking experienceExperience advising clients in the broader industrials space; experience with Specialty Distribution and/or Business Services is preferredExcellent analytical and modeling skillsHigh energy with strong interpersonal, accounting and finance skillsAbility to perform under pressure and tight deadlinesStrong commitment to respecting and safeguarding confidential information;Commitment to working hardExtraordinary focus on work quality and attention to detailAdherence to regulatory requirementsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to learn quickly, with a particular focus on accounting rules and financial valuation methodologiesStrong client management skillsDemonstrated ability to work well in a team environment
