Asset Protection Specialist (4pm - Midnight, M-F)

About the Role Asset Protection Specialist at Talbots (Heartland/Hingham, MA). Works the 4:00pm–12:00am shift, Monday–Friday. Responsible for securing company assets, enforcing safety protocols, and reporting incidents. Responsibilities Greet, engage, and assist associates, vendors, and visitors upon arrival. Verify access control – ensure associates are on the approved entry list and visitors/vendors are logged in the visitor’s log. Create ID badges and assign appropriate security clearances. Maintain knowledge of and monitor facility CCTV and access control systems. Answer and transfer internal/external phone calls. Initiate internal/external investigations based on daily inspection findings or other information. Create incident/injury reports and provide first aid when needed. Build productive business relationships and understand each function. Make decisions based on the department’s policies and procedures (P&P). Support AP management by handling asset protection vendor management duties. Perform other administrative duties as directed by Asset Protection Management. Requirements At least 6 months of experience in Asset Protection / Loss Prevention or Corporate Security (preferred). High school diploma or equivalent. Primary shift: 4:00pm to 12:00am, Monday through Friday. Self‑motivated with the ability to work with little supervision. Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills. First Aid, CPR, and AED certification preferred. Basic Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
