Contract Rn Position In Progressive Care

Contract RN position in progressive care for a 13-week assignment in or near Charlotte, North Carolina. The role covers day and night shifts, requiring a valid North Carolina nursing license and progressive care experience, and focuses on delivering high-quality patient care within a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the progressive care unit, adhering to hospital policies and protocols.
2. Assess patient conditions continuously, documenting clinical findings accurately and promptly.
3. Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement effective care plans.
4. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
5. Educate patients and their families on post-discharge care and health management strategies.

Qualifications:

• Valid nursing license from the state of North Carolina.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS certification.
• CPI certification (if required).
• Minimum of 1 year of recent progressive care experience in a hospital setting.
• Ability to work 3-12 hour shifts.
• Strong communication skills.
• Adaptability to different shift schedules.
