Required Skills & Experience

Qualifications:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in a related field preferred.\n2+ years of experience as a facility operator working within semiconductor manufacturing, or a similar technical environment.\nExperience working with control systems\nExperience working within facilities (HVAC/ boilers/ chiller/ air bulk handlers)\nStrong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.\nFamiliarity with cleanroom protocols and semiconductor manufacturing processes is a plus.\nAbility to work in a fast-paced, high-tech environment with attention to detail and safety.\nExcellent communication and teamwork skills.

Insight Global is looking for a Facility Operator to work on site in Austin, TX and support the strategy and introduction of products based on unique and highly differentiated capabilities of a foundry for semiconductor microsystems and defense electronics companies. Their mission is to advance the state-of-the-art in critical semiconductor domains such as advanced packaging, and in the process to help restore U.S. leadership in semiconductor manufacturing. They are developing cutting-edge semiconductor manufacturing technology that will define future roadmaps of semiconductor devices including logic, memory, 3D packaged devices, including thermal management, etc.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nOperate and monitor semiconductor manufacturing equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.\nPerform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of facility infrastructure and production tools.\nSupport the introduction of new products and processes by collaborating with engineering and operations teams.\nMaintain accurate logs and documentation of equipment status, maintenance activities, and operational metrics.\nRespond promptly to alarms, system alerts, and emergency situations to minimize downtime and ensure continuity of operations.\nEnsure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
