Responsibilities include Support the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close process through preparation of journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules. Analyze account activity and financial variances, investigate discrepancies, and provide meaningful insights to accounting leadership. Maintain general ledger accuracy across multiple balance sheet and income statement accounts while ensuring timely resolution of outstanding items. Partner with cross-functional teams, including AP, payroll, inventory, and operations, to gather information, resolve issues, and support accounting initiatives. Prepare and maintain audit‑ready documentation, workpapers, and financial support for internal and external audit requests. Identify and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency, strengthen internal controls, and support a scalable accounting function. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Required) 3+ years of progressive accounting experience with strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, general ledger accounting, and month‑end close processes (Required) Public company experience (Preferred) Experience preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, financial schedules, and supporting accurate financial reporting (Required). Experience supporting audits, internal controls, and compliance requirements (Preferred). Proficiency with ERP systems such as NetSuite (Preferred). CPA designation or progress toward CPA (Preferred).
