The client is seeking a Department Head of Business to join their College of Business and Industry as the Hill Williams Distinguished Chair of Business Administration. This prestigious role offers a discretionary fund for enhancing academic programs, research, and professional initiatives. The College of Business boasts accreditation from a leading business education authority, emphasizing excellence in business education globally. This accreditation highlights their commitment to continuous improvement and innovative learning, with a curriculum featuring 13 specialized pathways such as corporate finance, digital marketing, human resources, and supply chain management. The Department Head is responsible for both faculty and administrative duties within the College. This 12-month role includes managing faculty, facilitating teaching schedules, overseeing program assessments, and maintaining accreditation standards. The position also requires teaching undergraduate courses, conducting research, and networking with industry leaders. Candidates must have a Ph.D. from an accredited institution in a relevant business discipline, along with a notable record of professional achievements warranting appointment at an associate professor or higher level, alongside at least four years of teaching or business experience. Preferred candidates will have leadership experience and knowledge in curriculum development and student engagement.
