Ventilator Patient Specialist Location: Southborough, MA Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM On-Call: 1 week per month Pay: $45–$50 per hour (based on experience) + Bonus Opportunities Territory Need: Western Region Plainfield | Royalston | Rutland | Agawam Position Overview We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Ventilator Patient Specialist to manage a defined caseload of ALS and/or pediatric ventilation patients . In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers , ensuring safe ventilator management, patient education, and exceptional respiratory care. This position is ideal for a Respiratory Therapist or RN who enjoys working closely with patients in a home respiratory care environment and making a meaningful impact in their daily lives. Key Responsibilities

• ️ Serve as the primary liaison for ventilator patients and caregivers in your territory
• ️ Conduct patient assessments and provide education on ventilator use and respiratory care
• ️ Set up, maintain, and monitor advanced respiratory equipment
• ️ Document all services and patient interactions in accordance with company policies
• ️ Support orientation and training of new staff when directed
• ️ Participate in on-call rotations and provide phone consultation during non-business hours
• ️ Maintain compliance with state licensure and continuing education requirements
• ️ Ensure workspaces and equipment remain organized, safe, and compliant

Sign-On Bonus:

• $2,000 after 60 days
• $2,000 after 180 days of continuous employment

Qualifications Education Completion of an accredited respiratory care program preferred ⚕️ Registered Nurse (RN) may be considered per state licensure laws Credentials Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) preferred ⚕️ RN candidates considered based on state requirements Experience

• ️ Pediatric and/or ALS ventilation experience required
• ️ Home respiratory care experience preferred
• ️ Hospital respiratory care experience acceptable

Must hold an active license in the primary state of practice Ability to obtain additional state licensure if required Technical Skills

• ️ Experience with ventilator platforms such as Care Orchestrator or Astral
• ️ Knowledge of Durable Medical Equipment (DME) and Home Medical Equipment (HME)
• ️ Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• ️ Comfortable navigating web-based healthcare platforms

⚙️ Physical & Compliance Requirements

• ️ Ability to lift and transport respiratory equipment when needed
• ️ Compliance with OSHA respiratory protection and N95 mask fit testing
• ️ Annual training and adherence to infection control protocols
