Capriotti's Sandwich Shop is a rapidly growing fast-casual restaurant brand with more than 100 locations nationwide and exciting expansion plans ahead. We are currently hiring a motivated Restaurant Shift Lead to help guide daily operations and support our restaurant team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys leading others, delivering outstanding customer service, and building a career in restaurant management, hospitality, or food service leadership. The Restaurant Shift Lead helps oversee day-to-day restaurant operations during assigned shifts, ensuring smooth service, quality food preparation, and a positive team environment. You will support the management team by supervising staff, maintaining Capriotti's operational standards, and delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, coaching team members, and developing leadership skills in the hospitality industry.

Responsibilities include supervising and supporting team members during daily restaurant operations, delegating tasks and ensuring all shift duties are completed efficiently, maintaining Capriotti's standards for food quality, speed of service, and cleanliness, providing excellent guest service and resolving customer concerns professionally, following company policies for food safety, sanitation, and cash handling, assisting with scheduling support, labor management, and inventory monitoring, maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout kitchen and dining areas, supporting smooth shift transitions through clear communication with management, recognizing and encouraging team performance and positive contributions, and promoting a team culture built on respect, accountability, and professionalism.

What we're looking for includes previous experience in restaurant, food service, hospitality, or retail leadership preferred, experience as a Shift Lead, Crew Leader, Team Lead, or Assistant Manager is a plus, strong customer service and communication skills, ability to lead and motivate team members in a fast-paced environment, excellent time management, organization, and problem-solving skills, dependable, adaptable, and team-oriented mindset, must be at least 16 years old, and flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
